Youtube Increases Video Time Limit

July 29th, 2010 TruXter No comments

You now can upload 15 minute videos. Instead of 10
Cool now the people who pirate movies will be uploading only 4 videos for an hour instead of six.

no really, now my videos can be a little more thorough.
maybe that will stop all of the o.O flash stop and go news(wannabee) videos.
Gives them more time to do more stuff.
:-D

So There is an Anti Facebook Hype

May 15th, 2010 Tech News No comments

Mashable blog request you leave Facebook.

Really? Everyone is shunning Facebook and bashing it? You are throwing a tantrum because the owners of Facebook are making this “Social Network” a tad bit closer to actually being social? You people are getting really pathetic. The same in crowd hipster doofuses that like to bring things up and break it down because you already used it so now it’s not cool …. douchebags.

Sorry to say it but you are being unreal. I hate facebook because their functionality is complete utter garbage. I am not throwing a tantrum about how they are making their social site actually become social. In fact I have forever hated the fact that people call it a social network yet you can’t meet someone. They have to know you before they can add you. There is nothing social about that.

So My only conclusion is that you people are being complete total hipster wannabes with huge antisocial-subconscious wanting to further recluse and separate yourself from the world even further. You clearly are not the early adapter first gen of the tech world who of course jumped on Facebook the moment it opened to the public. Those people are gone or have learned to accept it for what it was and just opened their profile to the public manually.

You are the same group that made a huge move for Myspace to lock the children separate from the adults. But said nothing when the games on Myspace came out and the kids wanted more game buddies so they opened their profiles and started adding all of the dirty old farts in greasy neck shirts, just because they want one more person in their mafia farming their vampires or what ever. Luckily Myspace consumed it’s ownself by releasing those games and making the adults get sick and leave the place. Now the only thing there is the kids who play the games and the trash hunting them.

If you shut up and stop drawing attention to Facebook, it will consume it’s self next, they are bringing in all the same games.

How about you go after that video chat that requests you to talk to strangers? Make a movement that is worth something. You geeks are just bashing for a current trend. Trendy geeks, I have no other defining words for you.. Well I do but hey.

You enjoy your rally of nothingness.

AMD New Six Core CPU

AMD CPU ON ZDNET
Ok, dur. This thing will go from it’s normal everyday regular processes to run another process that is self focused? are you kidding me? why add more work to your work horse? are they that dang impressed by dodges Himi that drops from 8 Cylinders down to six when in highway gear?? IT’S NOT THE SAME THING!!!!!! STOP IT . AMD has been on a downward spiral for a couple years. Now they have put the nail in the coffin. They really should have left it at six cores and then release the information that you yourself can adjust it closer to what they state on Zdnet. I mean AMD has always be the DIY processor anyway…. Right? Well they need to give the users what they want.. and for that matter, Nvidia freaks….. bring coolbits back! (I know AMD and ATI yadda yadda it’s my post let me vent)

I phone hacked… Again

July 31st, 2009 Tech News No comments

Get  Square font sent to your Iphone as an SMS, you are compromised. Time to shut down.

Well This goes to show you, that it is not a perfect company. The one device they make that

actually hits the masses, Gets hacked fast and easy one simple text message font From what I gather, the font will look like the blank font looks on a machine that does not support  it, it will just be a square. One single square that locks up your cell phone. Mashable says that when your phone locks up, they are hacking you. Really I doubt that, locked up is locked up, unless you are locked out and the lock up is just a spoof.

Make you think twice about yoru twitter ap…..

What is your Favorite online Community?

July 9th, 2009 Game News No comments

We all have used a community of some sort. From java chat rooms o Irc chatrooms, to forums and bulletin boards. We have used Myspace, Facebook, Jaiku and Twitter.

One thing they all have in common, is community.

What type of community do you like? or what kind would you like to see again.

My favorite of all time was MSN chatrooms based on city/location. Lets you make the world a bit smaller and gets you in touch with hundreds even on a day you are sick. Forums are too slow but seem to be the closest we have. IRC even though msn chat was on an IRC server, IRC seems to vulnerable for massive attacks.

S what would you like to see again, or more of?

Twitter Ap Added to The Tool Bar

June 24th, 2009 Game News No comments

Here is a Preview of the toolbar with Twitter ap added to it.

Ok all I added a Twitter ap to my Toolbar, Yes I know how the 90′s did us all with toolbars . Deep down, we all wanted those dang things to work. To many people added garbage to the toolbars and made them unsafe and well, more harm than good.
Well I found a place that let me assemble everything I use on a daily basis, and something I can’t do without having 900000 things in my bookmarks. The toolbar simplifies everything for me. Down side well, the Twitter Button, seems to work best in Internet Explorer on my home computer using vista. My xp machine, well not so such an issue. Same with the windows seven computer that we are loading full of “our every day software” (the IT guy at my job, and I ) .
You have to try out the media player, you can add a mess load of radio stations and podcasts. Real player and WMP compliant, I am not sure about quick time. I don’t do Apple crap.

Here is a Preview of the toolbar with Twitter ap added to it.

Digg Needs a Twitter

June 11th, 2009 Tech News No comments

Digg.com, Has been an internet Leviathan for a couple of three years. It has been mimicked and cloned .but those who  try and use some of that idea, miss the one big selling point of digg.com. You get news out before anyone. (If Kevin read this far, the gears would be cranking in his already and he probably would be off building this). Everyone gets to see your post become the most popular and you get to claim some forgotten pride of producing this piece of information to the world of the less informed.

Twitter does that also. In tiny little squirts. You can become a known source of information and become dependable, at a faster pace than what digg allows you now. Digg has (for good reason) locked out all easily detectable spam methods, by slowing down the process in which you submit and verify your news. Understandable, because it was getting bad.

What twitter has that digg needs, is a phone texting measure, and a way to submit images. You can be on scene and send pictures, videos, audio instantly as news happens. You can get this to the public faster than if you sent it to some news station where “Brad” the smiley plastic head gets the credit for your work and find.. What would be the motive for doing this??

Well Chris Pirillo and his http://www.lockergnome.com/ Allows you (as I do here on my site also) to embed your adsense code into your main page of the site, allowing you to generate  well deserved income from your works. Letting you establish  an income from your credible reports. Believe me if you post junk, people stop taking you serious.

That’s what Digg can do with a Simi Twitter idea.

Let’s say it’s a twitter motivated idea.
