GTAIV On Pc Speculated Differences

First Off I have to say;

Thanks to the console people for  all the beta testing they did for big boys. Your efforts are apreciated.

Now on Rockstar’s site and take two’s site they say there will be

“newly expanded multiplayer just for the PC”

and from Rockstar we get

Ok, We anticipate  the online play to be very similar to mta and sa-mp .

Allowing us to be our own server, or the option to join windows online for official servers  making sure  we have a clean safe un-modified game play. If not, we will probably fix that issue ourselves, totally bypassing the windows online game play.

We do expect better resolution.

We do expect exclusive downloadable content aka dlc. I have hopes of previouse games being played on some sort of console that comes with the first dlc. Games susch as gta and gta ii and hopefully gta advanced. I mean that is all far fetched but not completely impossible.

We are expecting custom radio stations, and maybe streaming radio.

We will be making our own fingerless gloves. you can count on that.

ok the gloves, somewhere in some of the previews they showed the gloves, but final cut did not have them.. so we will have them.

Take these with a grain of salt.

Typically Rockstar  well give a lower expectation of system requirements than what the kids normally  cook up.

If you scroll down lower you will see that someone has already cooked it up on an official gaming site. They are usually wrong also.

1.6 cpu (single core) 3 year old vid card (vga) , 512 ram (ddr)  dx9c  probably the min requirements

optimal is probably closer to

2g dual core, 1.5 year old vid card . 1.5 g ram ddr2 dx10.

And of course the game never really plays smooth until two years of vid card evolution passes by.

I am sure o/s does not matter.. as long as dx10 makes it’s way to xp sp3.

New Magazine With Gtaiv on PC

We have all seen the one from mylasia.

Now we have one from Italy that looks like a tabloid mag.

Now don’t shoot the messenger if this turns out to be a photoshop fake from a non-existant magazine.

But it looks like a legit scan in.

Maybe they know something, maybe they are just a rumor monger. Maybe it’s two kids just playing around trying to make a popular fake image that circulates the net.

To me it just sounds like one of the regular kids in the gta forums

But really, it translates to they speculate the game will be October 2008. because past games  are april and October, or 8 months.  really it could be April next year before they even mention the game on pc, or no game on pc. It could release October 2009.

But, the main thing to think about is, bait. Rockstar does not and can not say that it will not be releasing a pc version, or share holders will jump ship.  Rockstar as wise as they are  could be waiting  till after the release of the downloadable content (DLC) and show share holders how the income can be multiplied by some fee for the Downloadable content. Once they can prove that the income is greater with this “New Plan”, then they can say  ” It would be too costly to build a game that has been out for a year, and it would not sell as much as we have made with the DLC, but we have new dlc coming very soon” .

See you keep the share holders hanging with a great taste (like a drug dealer does to the addict) and make them more money while you make yourself more money.

hmm I might just go grab a huge chunk in their stock right now. BUT  I AM NOT SUGGESTING YOU BUY ANYTHING BUT THE NEXT GAME.

Esrb rates gtaiv for pc

The game is in the making and already has a rating.

ESRB has made this mistake before.

Let’s see what rockstar does to them for this.

That was on their site untill a flood of people from gtaforums.com whent there to see it.

The high volume of traffic and steady posting of emails to rockstar games to confirm it, got the place to either temporarily edit and fix that, or to put back the way it was suposed to be.

Or the stories everyone is telling is a chain of false wittness.

Fake Magazine For gtaiv circulates the web

Someone posted the image of the pcgamer magazine that suposedly came out in july. It has the picture of niko belic on the cover. I did my research and found that pcgamer.com does not exist  but pcgamer.com/my does. it is a two week old website.

on the site they claim to have their hands on a Malaysian pc game magazine that has news about gtaiv on pc “coming soon”

The fake print out is shrink wrapped to look like it is official.

There are many factors here to look at. One it’s a country where not every speaks english but the magazine is in english. two it’s the end of july and we are just now seeing the july issue?.. I’m sorry but the gtaiv for pc crowd, would have dug this up and it would have hit digg.com instantly.
