Did you ever get a PayPal account ? Buy much of anything on Ebay ? Got charged for doing the express pay and the guy collecting at the other end got charged to receive the  payment, Meanwhile the person selling the item had to pay for holding the auction. In one year, It was 04 or 05 when I last cared to hold an auction on eBay, but in that one year I got 3 notices of price raises and a free three days to hold an auction. See the issue is, they make plenty of money buy us paying for the auction, and the  7 percent (if it’s still that low, I doubt it) to sell out items using their bandwidth) to make plenty of money buy just maintaining the servers, but no, they keep trying to come up with ways to collect more money  from what they already offer.

What two months ago Ebay blamed social networks on their downfall. Really?  a social site?? The only way a social site can cause an issue with a a company is the freedom of speech. What I mean by that is, telling everyone how you got done wrong. Well dang the ability to speak your mind. Others blame it on a weakening economy. Yes it’s the fact that we do not want to give up our physical possessions that we earned and once put our hands on in trade for 7% or more fees to sell on a network full of people who have mastered the system of gaming that site.

If it was not for the over price auction and every fee they can tax to the system, it would be because the 50/50 chance of getting hit by a scammer. you auction off your item and some guy wins at a nice hefty price you ship the item, eBay contacts you and says “wait payment is not complete and has been reversed due to A STOLEN ACCOUNT” …. ehh crap. Meanwhile the scammer sends out hundreds of emails from fake email accounts like  emailer1.ebay@yahoo.com   and the emails look like legit eBay emails saying ” Item paid for you must ship item now” . Go to your PayPal account and see the money was reversed and you never received, then you get fake PayPal emails Confirming the item was paid for.

How the person won the auction was to bid $40000000 over the actual value of the item assuring no one will win but him/her. Basically killed your chance to get money for what you earned, then  to complete the screwing, tries to steal the item from you.

If you get scammed and fall for anything from an eBay scammer you are at a 80% chance of eBay saying ” there is nothing we can do about this at this time but we are looking into it” .. Great.

See for a place that actually has very little to offer, no 100% assurance, they sure do keep raising their prices a whole lot.

Oh for a heads up.

Never ever buy a car remote from eBay.   You get the remote, you set your car to match it, he just mailed it to you so he has your home address and the matching remote.. 20 bucks and a car for  $45 worth of gas.. Nice.

I am upset with the measures of Washington Mutual’s online checking.
The past 2 months i am getting $150 in overdraft charges because their system has a crappy update and refresh. Why do they assure you they have online account status when what you get is just account related items. Let’s look at the word “status”

Why is it that your online checking status does not show charges for almost four days, unless you go over draft?

There is something fishy about the way this happens. is there a bug in your mysql db? If so i probably can fix this. Is your php script not functioning? or , just to go out on a huge limb here, is this the only way you make money ? i mean that is far fetched but it seems you are leeching on the poor. If you say you have online checking status, can you at least make it actual status? Really, why is there a “pending” and then weird limbo charges. should they all not be pending untill complete? the credit machine makes an query to verification, then it reports it’s charges, then it confirms.

I can build this junk, I do it all the time, but i am crappy at bookkeeping.

Maybe I should gather more information and make a blog about this and put advertisements around it and try and get my money back at your expense. sound fair?does to me.

I used their “message system”.
The best explanation i have recieved for this is “well our online status is not perfect”.
My response is ” You hold my money with the impression you can help me with poor book keeping, looks like your crummy ‘professional service’ requires me to save the receipt to every hot dog and coffee I buy, so basicly you do nothing but hold my money and charge me for trusting your software”.
The person replied “well the software is not mine”
My forehead bulged out, I felt like they just yelled ” I know you are but what am I” left me lost for words.

account on wamu.com displays only two types of pending items: A deposit

The amount of the pending item transaction or hold reduces your
available balance and therefore is included in your available balance
amount on the “Your Account” page.

Pending items are not included as part of the running (ledger) balance
on the Transaction History page. You can continue to visit your

We have added these items to the Transaction History page to provide

some of your pending items, you need to continue to track all pending
account transactions.

Pretty Automated. They didn’t want to even read the thing and they just sent me a blur of a response.
Well it has been about 15 transactions and 9 days since I started timing them, still no updates yet.
My account has one pending item on it that has been there since before I started freaking out about the service. and yes I have plenty of cash in there.

Today April 21st, Microsoft released a new update to WINDOWS LIVE . The forums at GTAFORUMS.Com goes crazy.
Looks like Microsoft bundled some lines of code that totally trashed what few users and players of Grand Theft Auto IV, that Rockstar Games had left. The game seems to work fine in Multi- Player , but has traumatic effect on Single player mode. You can no longer tweak and adjust your game. The game stutters so bad and hangs up, that no one can get even four minutes of play time to test out said tweaks. It kind of looks intentional.
Picture this:
Rockstar games might have actually put the screws to Microsoft, for allowing cheats in thier online community, and well, looks like they might have barked up the wrong tree. Sad part is, they are contracted to them, so they can’t just drop the windows live program.

This of course is where the modders and tweakers need to come together. MTA-IV and Iv-mp need to band together and make something quick to save Rockstar in this.

Now this is pretty much speculation, but man it would be scary if it was true.
Xliveless is the way to go, but patches are hard to get and use once you do that.

I can not say that Youtube is the best, just the greatest used. When they get the whole “hd” version and time span thing worked out. In due time, we all know google has a big plan somewhere up their sleave. lol.

Ok on to my favorites:

3.VEOH Nothing major ground breaking but a great gathering of videos on other people’s sites.

2.Joost The first of the best High quality, Could be best but had a face lift  mid year that changed everything and started them back at point zero, to follow hulu. I would like to locate their media player again.

1. HULU very high quallity high resolution videos.  Bad thing is, fox focused, and all the really good shows, are on fox’s website not Hulu’s. I still after 5 tries can not get the fox media player to work at all. I tried  Xp,Xp64,Vista,Xandros Linux.  but other than that, what shows they do host, are very high quality with tiny short advertisements

Well as the hype mule (I would say train but it really doesn’t feel like a train) starts I came across this from 1up. They have apparently had a bit of a quickie on GTA 4 mp for the PC :-

Nothing earth shatteringly new, obviously mentioned that it has 32 players instead of 16. They also seem to be of the opinion that the mouse and keyboard improves MP (well what a shock eh boys and girls). All in all an interesting read if you are board and want some more information. There is also eight new screenshots there, well I haven’t seen them :-

I really love the game, it’s great time killer. Sad part is, there is a dark side to it. The underlying reality.

The only way to get people added to your mobster list, is to invite them to be your friend on myspace. Why is this bad? Well, My generation has done everything we could to protect our kids when they chat on myspace. The scary part is, everyone is trying to get as big of a mob as they can. The kids are inviting anybody and everybody to join their mob. Again their naivety is taking front stage. The qualified sense of security because of the simple thought ” well they just want more mobsters, they can’t be stalkers” convinces them to just invite like crazy.

See you go to someone’s profile on myspace mobsters and type in their message box your link to your myspace profile and say “add me”. Well they add you and now your mob is bigger by one person. I myself have spammed for an entire three hours. The thing is I have been been a little more different about it. I say “.com/truxter add me if you are an adult” . Typically they respond with a laugh ” I’m 50 does that quallify?”. Which is cool to me. I always check their profiles for age and appearance of being the age they claim. There have been about 5 or so that looked like they changed their age just to get more mobsters. One changed their age and fooled me. Then they changed their age back the very next day to be a minor. I quickly deleted them and started writing this.

Myspace needs to change the format in wich people can have friends in Myspace AND Mobsters. This could get some children pretty well hurt and it needs to be addressed.

Now the rest of the truth. The game is very boring and everything is set on a time base. Ex: it takes like 3 minutes to get stamina 3 minutes to get energy and so on. With a refresh button. This of course keeps you being fed an ample supply of advertisements. Paying myspace and the game creators. Really if you are going to think so hard on how to make money on an addictive mindlessness, you have to think of the safety of the users.

Revver.com Claims to pay out money per view and per advertisement served.

Truth is, the ad at the end of the video is never seen. Or something.

I see like 400 total views of videos and like 10 ads served and 0 ads clicked. in the three years I have been with Revver.com I have made almost six dollars and fifty cents for my efforts. I have 26 videos there. Sure you can tell me that I need more videos, but come on, 26 videos and only 6 dollars.. that’s not even enough for the effort I spent into my first video, and upload and for all conversion.

The first month I made about 5 dollars, since then , it has been petty pennies from time to time. The only thing I have seen worse than revver is Helium.

I just uploaded my Videos from Ike. So far in  20 hours, one video of 10 has made it to “accepted”.

I was signed with an affiliate program for years, and never made more than $7. Two weeks ago I got a notice in my email saying they sold the company. They went on saying that all current bills will be paid by the end of what ever month, not sure I just started to ignore the junk I would get from them.
