GTAv and GTAVI Figured Out

There are many clues. Rockstar always leaves clues. If you have been playing GTA as long as I have, you would know this. Many of the clues are subtle, many are just flat out “See you in San Andreas” Billboards. Before the actual release date, anything can be a distraction. we all know that ownership of Grand Theft Auto has changed many times. The writers and coders and directors, have all changed, so it is hard to expect them to follow the same pattern, or to be as good or bad as the predecessors at tricking and riddling us with wild clues. This has and hopefully always will be part of the game. For the sake of this writing, let’s expect that no changes will occur in the pattern.

In GTAIV, there are many times that you will hear on the radio, mention of Los Santos, and other locations that are real locations. We can assume that Los Santos will be in the next game. but at one time Rockstar would actually mention real life locations and then make a mock up of that location but name it different. Through out GTAIV there is no mention of Vice city, until the coming of Ballad of Gay Tony. In BOGT there is a Vice City Radio, Radio station.

In past patterns

In the first Grand Theft Auto game, you start out in Liberty City then move to Vice City as you progress in the game. In the end you have to defeat the city of San Andreas. After a few addon games, we came to GTAIII. In GTAIII We are some un-named guy who is left for dead by his female partner in crime when she shot him at point blank with a shotgun, right after a bank robbery. This un-named guy gets arrested and is being transported from one jail to another with two other inmates. In transit between the jails, the “patty wagon” gets stopped guns are drawn, a bridge is blown up. All to aid in the release of one of the prisoners. The un-named guy that is played as your character, and third man with bandages on his hands are left as the only living people at the scene. So they flee and take it as a gift. Luckily hackers get into police records and prevent anyone from that “Little Road Trip” from ever being remembered in the database. So that explains how you are free. You eventually make it through the ranks to take over the gang that the third person on that “patty wagon” runs.  The guy that helps you the whole time who has the bandages on his hands, is named “8-ball”. He is a bomb maker about the same age as you.  That is a strange inconsistency. Due to the time line jumps of the next two games. but still back to gtaiii, as you get to the airport you see signs that say that you can travel to Vice City . But you can not.

Later you make it to Vice city (following the way the first GTA was done), There are no clues of San andreas you just play the roll of some poor dork from Liberty City who was dropped off after getting out of jail,  and forced to  do a drug trade. You get ambushed by a local gang. Now the people who have you kind of blackmailed into the drug trade, don’t have their money, and they don’t have their drugs. You are responsible to get one back to them. You fail at that. But you take over the whole city of Vice city and become the new Gang leader of the whole city. Again you are in a city that has an 8-ball’s bomb shop in it. Strange thing is the game is set almost 15 year prior to GTAIII in liberty city. This would have made 8ball quite a well organized shop owner, for someone who just got out of jail in gtaiii. I can only assume he blew his hands up prior to gtaiii and that is how he got busted.

Some more clues to San Andreas being next One thing that guy misses. His posterboard he posted. in the middle it says “Liberty City is over, on the top it shows GTAIV album Art in the bottom right, we see what is likely part of the album art for the next grand theft aut. Looks like trees, edge of a mountain and some sky. Much like San Andreas. To further match what he shows in his page.    .

What we can be certain of

Grand Theft Auto 5 will not be out for atleast three more years. They will do the same with GTAiv as they did with GTA and GTAiii, Liberty City – Vice City – Sand Andreas will all be under the same number title. Each Chapter will have it’s own extra episode(s). Count on GTAV being the grounds for a whole new batch, Such as london and so on, or a visit to a whole new city, as they did with GTAII

GTAIV Vice City Or San Andreas Next?

Clearly it will be Vice City. San Andreas is the final city each time and Liberty City is where you start.
On GTAIII Vice city is what happened after the Game coders smoothed out the code and repacked it to take less space, allowing them to pack more crap in one game.
GTAIII Took a hearty machine back in the day, as GTAIV take a Hearty Machine these days. Vice city took a slightly stronger computer on III, yet played twice as smooth. Vice city will play smoother again. If computer gamers are allowed a chance to ride the GTAIV tail to the end, then GTA PC Fans will be in for a re-occurring blast.
Will we see a yellow washed city again? I was not bothered by that in III , It gave the feel of a sunny city. Especially after Rainy Liberty City. More Boats, less garbage, more old people and malls. The only things I anticipate. I am ready for the announcement .
What I hope for, is a glimpse at an old burned out Tommy Vercetti, in a retirement home, along with the un named Guy from GTAIII, And Carl Johnson from San Andreas living up on the beach, with no role in the game other than showing he is still alive.

There was an interview with the creators of Grand Theft Auto, and they said that we will not see any persons returning in GTAIV Because they are all dead. Vice city in GTIII was a step back in time, and so was San Andreas, what will happen in that case? will they close the books for good and show us how they all die?
Buy the next game, Buy the pc version to get the real deal, and we will know what’s up.

Wanna Play GTA Linux?

Here is something I put together for you guys,
and well for myself to look back on, about tree years ago.
Here is the actual location of what you see here

First let’s make sure you do have either a
dual boot machine, or and hard drive with
your install of each game , on it.

I of course am doing this from my windows
partition, but do not doubt using usb type
portable thumbs,which is kinda cool.

I will work this week with grand theft
auto vice city .
Ok, Let’s go get some Wine .
you are going to need it.

Next you might need what I needed Flex ,
I use RPM Bone because I am not going
to spend a day trying to learn how to
build a package when I can
just do a search. Well whatever. If you
get a notice that you need to install
anything, the bone will help you, just
select the right distro and you are
good to get.. another File i needed
was BISON.. two seconds three tries
the rpm went well.

Console Usage

Open a console window and type:

apt-get install bison flex libncurses5-dev

Now when you begin the wine install
with this command ” ./tools/wineinstall ”
go get a soda or beer or what ever,
you might wanna grab a
couple, this sucker takes a while, but
look up from time to time it asks a yes
or no and asks you to type in admin pass.

No Cd

which tells you that you are not getting car motor sounds and peds sounds… well.

If you do that you will get those sounds back.. but at a cost… no radio and when you exit game.. dear god it’s a loud noise

Rockstar Will Not Fix GTA FREEZE

” Earlier today we broke the news that some Grand Theft Auto IV gamers were having problems with the game on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

“For them, the game was freezing up during the introductory cut-scene, something that neither I nor Mike experienced during our time with the game on both systems. To be clear, we have no idea how widespread the problem is, but it’s certainly on Rockstar’s radar and making the rounds both in our tips line and on forums.

“Rockstar declined to comment on the issue officially, so I went to the phone and called up Rockstar Support to see what they had to say about the problem.”

I am certain that Rockstar games will fix this issue. Not to bash the gaming site that seems to have “broken the news.”

But really. This is taking words out of text.

On a wiki I Found, I see nicely done wiki (almost done).

Same with the phoenix and other cars.

Will Your Computer Handle GTA IV?

The current estimated specs for optimal running Grand Theft Auto IV Is 2 gigs ddr ram,7200 nvidia with 128 megs ram, 3 gig processor/cpu . Direct x 9, but ten will give you more,so you might want a dx10 video card. All resource hogging junk in vista turned off. Basically you are better off with XP and heading to black viper’s site and use his method of turning off themes and everything else you do not use when you are a gamer. 800mhz fsb . Broadband internet.

Be sure and run the best cooling on your machine. Pretty much all of what is out now, is going to get hot as hell when you are playing the game (GTA IV) on your computer.

The water detail is amazing, with trash floating in the water, not on the water, but really swirls around in the water as you walk or drive in it.

There is no official announcement of grand theft auto IV being out for pc gamers as of yet, but there is no opposing info. So let’s not completely rule this out. So yeah, I have hope.
