Youtube Increases Video Time Limit

You now can upload 15 minute videos. Instead of 10
Cool now the people who pirate movies will be uploading only 4 videos for an hour instead of six.

no really, now my videos can be a little more thorough.
maybe that will stop all of the o.O flash stop and go news(wannabee) videos.
Gives them more time to do more stuff.
:-D

So There is an Anti Facebook Hype

Mashable blog request you leave Facebook.

Really? Everyone is shunning Facebook and bashing it? You are throwing a tantrum because the owners of Facebook are making this “Social Network” a tad bit closer to actually being social? You people are getting really pathetic. The same in crowd hipster doofuses that like to bring things up and break it down because you already used it so now it’s not cool …. douchebags.

Sorry to say it but you are being unreal. I hate facebook because their functionality is complete utter garbage. I am not throwing a tantrum about how they are making their social site actually become social. In fact I have forever hated the fact that people call it a social network yet you can’t meet someone. They have to know you before they can add you. There is nothing social about that.

So My only conclusion is that you people are being complete total hipster wannabes with huge antisocial-subconscious wanting to further recluse and separate yourself from the world even further. You clearly are not the early adapter first gen of the tech world who of course jumped on Facebook the moment it opened to the public. Those people are gone or have learned to accept it for what it was and just opened their profile to the public manually.

You are the same group that made a huge move for Myspace to lock the children separate from the adults. But said nothing when the games on Myspace came out and the kids wanted more game buddies so they opened their profiles and started adding all of the dirty old farts in greasy neck shirts, just because they want one more person in their mafia farming their vampires or what ever. Luckily Myspace consumed it’s ownself by releasing those games and making the adults get sick and leave the place. Now the only thing there is the kids who play the games and the trash hunting them.

If you shut up and stop drawing attention to Facebook, it will consume it’s self next, they are bringing in all the same games.

How about you go after that video chat that requests you to talk to strangers? Make a movement that is worth something. You geeks are just bashing for a current trend. Trendy geeks, I have no other defining words for you.. Well I do but hey.

You enjoy your rally of nothingness.

IBM breaks OSS patent promise

http://arstechnica.com/open-source/news/2010/04/ibm-breaks-oss-patent-promise-targets-mainframe-emulator.ars

Free and Open Source Software doesn’t mean you can trap and walk through the Casablanca Lily’s and Petunias at the local park! Just like IBM said “claiming that the antitrust motion is unfounded and that a software emulation business is just like selling cheap knock-offs of brand-name clothing.”
Come out with a free clothing line called Polo-Z with a pixelated Polo horse and see how fast Ralph Lauren hits you with a law suit without a letter with out the nine pages of world recognized registered patents! Just because software isn’t quite exactly a manufactured tangible product doesn’t mean its not an infringed product!

Apple Ipad Sketch

Well I saw the video of the Apple Ipad Sketching.

I was quite impressed. In fact I was amazed. I was actually thinking about my old psp and how that Ipad totally destroys everything my psp could do. Then I realized I was aiming to low.

Focal Point Device

(pdf about Focal Point)

I realized that Microsoft’s 8 year old operating system is used on a thing called focal point. It is a full blown Windows XP. We have installed Autodesk Autocad, Photoshop, Gimp and even grand theft auto iii on that device. It runs on Tmobile network .

I know it is worthless argument of it’s portability and durability, against apple’s really nice looks. It would seem they are of two separate classifications. Can’t wait for the Android version of the mix of the two :-)

We can be certain the Linux group will put this thing down by the end of the month and have  (most likely) Kubuntu or something on it. Innovation comes when  the Windows freaks to reverse engineer Windows 7 Mobile (if it actually comes out) and seeing them slap that onto one of these Ipads and make something actually useful of it. Strange enough, there are groups who like to put windows on everything, but Microsoft sues them or sends a cease notice as soon as they do it. That is why linux is the better choice .. The pure simple freedom to learn and be creative. Microsoft needs that. Apple needs that. Micorosft most of all. it says ” our software is so strong and versatile it can be installed on anything that can hold an o/s, and it might actually even work.”  for now it’s the linux group doing all the work.

Crazy deal is, no one has wanted the touch tablets. but apple puts out a tablet and the sells are crazy. could be an early adapter thing, could be just for claiming greatness before anyone then in five months when everyone else has one saying ” yeah I bought one, they suck” could just be a hipster thing. I am hoping it is for the techies. the real techies who will break that thing down, format it and see what they can load on it.

Let’s hope the best.. I just hope computers don’t all go touch screen. I want my keyboard … spread sheet would suck after about 300 words, your fingers would hurt.

If anyone has anything cool to show about their Ipad, please post.. I want to see it. The world wants to see it.

When Will GTA5 Be Announced?

Here, Grand Theft Auto Five Speculations and Rumors

Many people on the internet are expecting to see Rockstar at E3 2010 to announce GTA 5. You have to ask yourself ” when was the last time Rockstar announced a new game at E3?” . If I am not mistaken. The last time they announced a new Grand Theft Auto at  any convention was GTAIII. After that day, Rockstar has not announced the release date until after “leaking” small bits of information about release dates, and then playing out a month or so of riddles and clues with the GTAFORUMs gang. Also it does not fit the format of  Grand Theft Auto game releases. We are on a brand new gaming platform. Rockstar has not used the New platform yet for the other two games that use this engine. Vice city and San Andreas have yet to be released on the new engine.  Rockstar numbers their game releases by engine. Well of course that’s how it has been done since… what 97 or 98? Why change that now ?

Every time Rockstar Games releases the big three games, all three are released on the same engine. Last time this happened, the engine got small tweaks (possibly influenced by the gta modding communities) Making the game smoother and less resource hogging (PC term). This allows them to them make the graphics better and add more game play using less storage and less stress on your gaming gear. It would be unwise to release a new gaming engine to release a new city. Count on the next big Grand Theft Auto to be released, to be Vice City or San Andreas. Also count on a few small variations of these two before you see the next Grand Theft Auto engine.

One of the first GTA rumors sites. That is the longest Grand Theft Auto News and Rumors website. I respect this old schooler because I think he is probably the only guy on the internet who has been playing the game as long as I have, and as consistent. Here is a GTA forum you can join and post your opinions, Hopes, wishes or rants. It’s ok, I know the owner of the site really well. He wont gripe much. That place has kinda turned into just PS3 users.

We can be sure that the next Grand Theft auto we see, will be GTAIV Vice city, or GTAIV San Andres Or a surprise left hook from London. Count on 4 more years.

Happy gaming.

Oh if you want more, Here more on the same subject of the Next Grand Theft auto

Top Ten Podcasters of the Year: TruXter’s Choice

Well the year has brought so much news to the tech world, Via podcasts. Since that is a media source, TruXter tech Review will list the choice of podcasters for 2009. From tenth place down to the number one spot.

These podcasts are not necessarily  all tech, it’s the means in which this media is brought to us that makes it tech. There is great talent and tons of devotion in these people, that is why they are making the list. There are some that are very talented but had no devotion or motivation to carry on this year as they had in the past years. So this year they will not be making it to this list. Some are great talent but a bit slacking this year so their scoring isn’t as wonderful as it could be. This post is not to bash, but show apreciation, keep that in mind if your or your favorite podcaster is not in the top 2.

There will be no award that can be given other than readers of this site, a chance to listen to the media on the podcaster’s site. So i hope they enjoy the notoriety, no matter how small the traffic might be or low the number of interested link followers their are.Well without further  blathering, this is the list of 2009’s podcasters we hope to hear more from during 2010.

Selling 5 Domains

I have a year to renew my domains, but ready to let the mess of them all go. It’s far to much work for just me.

I worked really hard on getting all  feeds  ranked in Technoratti. Infact this particular rss feed is  worth “$1,693.62.”

Considering I have barely writen anything here in the past few months, that is pretty good. For the most part people come here for the Linux info I give in one of my directories, and the occasional coverage ion Grand Theft Auto. (I actually show how to play grand theft auto on Linux. You should Google it and see what you find. I did my work and it’s real info. So people link to me on their sites. I try to not be a spammer. So Google does all the work I need for getting the content noticed.

I wanted to make an ” I work with” network. Meaning I wanted to cover many job fields in content topics, and give people of that field a place to relate with. I wanted them all to be able to talk to each other and trade tips or just rant or sell or trade stuff related. I had no plan to charge anyone for going there and using any of the services. So I never did.

The “I work with” network consisted of

iworkwithpeople.com an employment site that I wanted to help people in retail. Could be used for many things, from therapy to psychiatry to loan agent.  It is currently an employment site.

iworkwithtech Wanted to make a site to sample products with and tell everyone about the products. after the products have run their course in my  reviews, I was going to overclock them. Never had the time, so I slapped something together to fill the spot and maybe  bring me work.

iworkwithmusic.com The goal was to let people submit their music content there and let the world hear it and or buy it. Totally free to the users of the site, except of course the media content they buy from the bands or dj.

Next on the list of sites for sell is not in eth same plan as the iworkwith network.

but still a fun site for me to run, during the times I had a mess-load of users. After the site rebuild I lost a lot of regular users. Down to like 18 people max. That site is  gtaclans.com a community for grand theft auto player. That one was fun, real fun.

Next is TruXtertech.com. The news section was three years of steady fun. at times I had stuff just flowing, at other times, I had a life to chase.

The asking prices are as follows.

iworkwithpeople.com $15000 Check the value for yourself Here

iworkwithtech.com $2000       Check the value for yourself Here

iworkwithmusic.com $500      Check the value for yourself Here

gtaclans.com $2000                     Check the value for yourself Here

truxtertech.com make Offer      Check the value for yourself Here Don’t worry, I will accept a reasonable offer.

I used stimator.com Because they do not base their searches on pure alexa results. If you Google Alexa you will understand. I know for years, malware scanners removed Alexa software off of people’s computers. So it really can’t be reliable if it’s only means is watching activity, and everyone is removing them.

check these websites statistics

Please contact me at (truxter     @    truxter    .    org) {no Spaces}

Paypal welcome,  and of course I will hand over the release code once the money is transferred. Sorry I will not give out bank routing number, but you can use my paypal account to use your credit card. If you do not have a paypal account, I suggest you set one up.

The prices are negotiable. But don’t be rude. I have a short temper for low ballers and hustlers. If needed I will gladly sign up to the sites and write for you in my free time. That is of course if you use the same plan I was working on. I will help you with search engines targeting.

Tech Podcasts to start out August Work Schedule

Every week every day I have to start out listening to my shows. I start with sdr then move to the tech guythen caffination and then twit. Through out the week I pick out the rest.  Following week, I start all over. Occasionally I get lucky  and Jobacle has a new episode. If you send topic requests, he might actually research the topic and hook you up.  Really well done program, just not enough of it there.  The unsigned musicians portion of the show really is good stuff, most of time!

Twit This Week In Tech, a network created by Leo Laporte. Shows I highlight that I must listen to every week.

The Tech Guy, Net@Nite,TWIT.

Tech Podcast Network Place to hear tech podcasts and select from a few. sdr, linux news log, Mike Tech, CaffiNation,

Podnutz A gathering of tech podcasts on one network. pretty good stuff.

At the top of every page on the tech news site, there is a tool bar, you don’t have to use it but it does already have the podcasts I listed here in the rss feed and the radio player. I use that tool bar on my bootable linux thumb drive, my home pc, my laptop, my work pc , scanned a million times over  there is nothing to fear from that bar it really is very useful. but again, you o not have to use  it to try the podcasts I listed.

Digg Needs a Twitter

Digg.com, Has been an internet Leviathan for a couple of three years. It has been mimicked and cloned .but those who  try and use some of that idea, miss the one big selling point of digg.com. You get news out before anyone. (If Kevin read this far, the gears would be cranking in his already and he probably would be off building this). Everyone gets to see your post become the most popular and you get to claim some forgotten pride of producing this piece of information to the world of the less informed.

Twitter does that also. In tiny little squirts. You can become a known source of information and become dependable, at a faster pace than what digg allows you now. Digg has (for good reason) locked out all easily detectable spam methods, by slowing down the process in which you submit and verify your news. Understandable, because it was getting bad.

What twitter has that digg needs, is a phone texting measure, and a way to submit images. You can be on scene and send pictures, videos, audio instantly as news happens. You can get this to the public faster than if you sent it to some news station where “Brad” the smiley plastic head gets the credit for your work and find.. What would be the motive for doing this??

Well Chris Pirillo and his http://www.lockergnome.com/ Allows you (as I do here on my site also) to embed your adsense code into your main page of the site, allowing you to generate  well deserved income from your works. Letting you establish  an income from your credible reports. Believe me if you post junk, people stop taking you serious.

That’s what Digg can do with a Simi Twitter idea.

Let’s say it’s a twitter motivated idea.
