If Sprint buys T-mobile what happens?

What can we expect to happen if Sprint buys T-mobile?

Both companies known for their customer loyalty and fair billing.
They are both known for their loss of signal.
What is also known is that they both are on different networks.
Sprint is CDMA and T-mobile is GSM. Two different networks.

So there is no chance of merging the networks and making a tweak to either one and increasing the size of the cell network.
So it would have to be one or the other. Which means one network is about to take on the load of the other network.

If life had rules maybe. There is a chance they give customers the choice and just maintain both networks. Which sounds like madness if you expect Sprint to fire off every single T-mobile employee. Which lots of companies seem to eventually do. but not if Sprint keep both signals

Sprint the website

That has got to be the clunkiest website I have ever tried to navigate. You have to know what catagory everything is in, and I don’t mean simple categorization. I mean to find wireless internet prices you have to know how to find the usb cards they provide and then click it to se ethe price of the card and then click into that a bit to see what plans are available for that card . meanwhile all of their images are ads from a third party advertiser. I use a script that blocks all advertisement companies so half of sprint’s website does not even show.
Sprint, if you want to sell me a phone or wireless intenet please fix your dang site. No wonder no one buys your service anymore.. They can’t.

Iphone to Verizon Uh Oh

Rumor is (On ZDNET) that Iphone is moving to or expanding to Verizon. Verizon is known to have the best cellular coverage across America. Iphone is of course known as being the  most wanted cell phone around the world. With the release of Android, Iphone has to have seen a huge hit to their budget. or not. apple is quite tight lipped.

This whole news burst could be all mislead hype. Apple has a huge “no leak” policy. Just earlier in March there was a rumor of Sprint getting the Iphone . So this could all be a rumor or it could be a fact. Both sprint and Verizon are on CDMA networks. So there could be an all out Motorola (everyone has or has had one) move coming.

So far there is no tale of  Iphone heading to Tmobile. Of course we know that TMobile is the leader in Android phones (well it seems like it). A move to Iphone through TMobile may lead to a huge batch of phones being traded in. This would be the death nail for Android. Tmobile is of course not a cdma network phone, it is GSM. So it’s the same build as AT&T. It would be an easy move. I doubt though that Tmobile would take them in.

As of now, everything is speculation. But you can imagine what every mac rumor does to their stocks. So from here out, we watch and wait. If it does not come to your network, chances are you can buy one on eBay that is unlocked…. and ready. for $100 extra.

Tmobile and Sprint Merger Bad Karma?

Rumor hitting the net now about Tmobile and sprint merging.

From this Uk News Article

Hopefully this means teh end of sprints crappy CDMA signal and growth of Tmobiles more dominant gsm signal.

One of the greatest features of gsm is the ability to just yank your sim card out and plug it into another phone you have and make it work, until you can replace your broken phone. So if this happens, cross your fingers and hope for gsm. Some people like to travel, and many people like Tmobile.

Oh yeah, and a good signal.
