First make sure that your RSS works, and your links are all functional. Make sure that your titles fit your Posts.
Make sure that you fill in the category, make sure you fill in the proper tags, no random tags or slightly similar. be dead on with your tags. Excerpts and captions options, use them. Now copy your rss link url and head over to these few sites and post your link when you have a fresh new page.

Use trackbacks wisely, do not send a trackback to some person who is saying exactly what you just said, send track backs to people you probably are filling holes for. So if one blog is about doors and your blog is about door knobs, you are a resource for him because he can now refference you. Don’t send trackbacks to doorknob blogs. pointless and no hand washes it’s self.
