They host my stuff and for two days now I can not log into my account or even see http://iworkwithpeople.com
which is hosted at 50megs.com .. heck i can’t even go to 50 megs. . this is killing my visit count.
You know, I am starting to think comcast is blocking my host’s i.p. address.
No one can go there that I know of, who are on comcast.
I mean my buddy in another city on dsl can go there
I can go there from my job just 4 miles up the road, and my job uses a whole nother service.
if you can go to 50megs.com or iworkwithpeople.com please leave a notice as to what service you use and which of the two sites you can access.
50megs.com has been down since Thursday. I called tech support on Friday and at first he said my page came right up. After checking when I advised no 50megs sites can open up, he found a Name Server is Down and said he would put in a trouble ticket, that is would be corrected Friday Night. Well they left us down all weekend. Its Monday at 1120am EDT and my site is down. I dont think comcast is blocking them. It is a server issue that 50megs should have corrected prior to going home for the weekend.

******************you are on comcast via Comcast Cable Communications, Inc. NJ-NORTH-21***************
you might want to call them,, I just did and it was confirmed that comcast is blocking all 50megs domains…
Right now I am at work on the t3 connection, that is how i got to the help desk phone number. as of right now there is no email comming to or from 50megs or any subdomains or domains associated with 50megs even my truxter@iworkwithpeople.com site. People on other services can connect to 50 megs sites… but no one on comcast.

Comcast has put a block on the server (50megs.com) Call them and give them this ticket number NA5181403
Something to do with a SPAM problem
I have a webpage through them too, had to look up 50megs.com through whios and got phone number. Tech told me to call COMCAST. It’s them blocking it.
From what I gather 50megs says it’s Comcast and Comcast says it’s 50megs. I’m in a loop trying to get access to my website that is hosted by 50megs.
The problem was reported at 3:52 pm est today and has been escalated (what ever that means) look for results between 24-72 hours.
Thats what I was told
Both 50megs and comcast are blaming each other. The difference is that Comcast is trying to resolve the problem (ticket # CR113235888) but 50megs doesn’t appear to be doing anything at all (bug #NA5181403), other than blaming Comcast. A really competent Comcast tech (commercial division) resolved the problem for us this afternoon by accessing our modem (a Comcast lease) and changing the DNS numbers. That fixed the problem (at least for us), so now we can access all of the sites that we manage. The down side is that if either you or Comcast’s tech support can’t access the modem to make the changes, you still can’t get to the 50megs sites. If you’ve got a little time to spare, give 50megs tech support a call and express your displeasure. Maybe if enough people call, they’ll actually do something to get this resolved.

Dude, opendns google it… comcast has to flush their cache so they can get the new dns server list of 50megs.com

My web site at 50 megs is down. Nothing but ads everywhere
I cannot get it to take my password.
This is a mess.
I need a phone number to get in touch with someone that can fix this problem
