Firefox 12 is acting like Chrome now.
It’s locking up, not closing, freezing while navigating. but doesn’t do the facebook profile picture glitch that chrome does. but still, Firefox 12 is freezing up on me.
Hurry up gang, send out another update.
Speaking of update… why is it that Firefox team offers the beta version option? I mean isn’t it all beta anyway ?
i get either two messages. 1-server takes too long to respond, or 2-connection timed out. firefox 12 is horrid for this. wait forever just to get denied. and its not certain sites either, from youtube to mozilla support. from yahoo to facebook, it has failed too many times. this needs fixed.
I’m getting the same two msgs and it all began on updating to 12 on the May05SA. This is a real bow-wow for sure! Even 10 & 11 had issues with their Tabs! Folks are looking at month old web pages because it makes the browser look faster than it is. FF doesn’t read the Expiry date or they wouldn’t continue to display 3-month old pages when the new one is a month old. Internet Carriers like AT&T are also playing that game!
FF 12 does suck cant even play sound files half of the time
Won’t play flash video. Won’t show java content. Crashes 10 times a day. Ruined everything
Here lately, it screws up Facebook. Showing old messages I have already cleared out. I keep seeing fake notifications.
I’ve downloaded it twice in the last few weeks, hoping they had the bugs worked out.
No go. Had to un-install and went back to 3.6.10
It really does suck.
My problem using it…
I can’t print shipping labels via USPS.
(Just went through this crap this morning)…
Also makes my videos all jumpy after a while, watching Netflix.
Bottom line, it’s clunky has too many useless bells and whistles.
It truly is a POS.

dropping firefox altogether. videos won’t stream. problem is, I pay bills online and they want an updated browser, so bye bye. I don’t neeed the hassle. I’m too busy to “learn” a new browser every month.
They ruined this version with their stupid tabs opening every time you click a website and you have to reset it each time you restart. What garbage. Moving to Chrome and this version made the decision easy.
I would rather move to Netscape than chrome.
I think Seamonkey is still an active project.
Glad i found this. I’ve been having same problems and blaming it on the USB modem from Verizon. Oh well – like I would ever let Verizon off the hook! :)

F12 is sucks… It do freezing 10-20 times in day. I can not work with banks, I can not work with bids in ebay…:(

How sad, just when I was so on board with FF over IE, they go and ruin everything. Thanks to their latest UPDATE which I did not ask for, now when I open a new tab, they’ve conveniently posted every single website I’ve been to, for all the world to see. Thanks FF, for pi$$ing all over my privacy. Back to IE for me, at least you can turn this feature off there. FF, why? Why did you pee all over us for being loyal? Do you kick your dog too? Shame on you.
