Call of Duty Modern warfare 3 preview video is released. For those of us who like the Call of Duty game collection be it on console or pc ,we have to have this game.

Got my daily Activision email. Looks like I am the last person to get this email of the preview because it’s all over youtube already.

Playing Call of Duty Black ops

Played Call of Duty Black Ops for PC yesterday for 5 hours on Old Guys server. Then my son came over and we played till 2am. Woke up got food and coffee and started playing some more. We have been playing COD BO for the past 5 hours today, but this time we are playing Nuke Town only servers.

Man that is some close range fast action stuff there.

Sure isn’t like playing Delta Force a coordinance  and camp as a sniper for an hour straight. and matches are really short. So you have to just run and gun like crazy. First Person shooter games rock, but man it really is stress when they are so close ranged. Sure you get a sniper rifle if you want one, but there is no place to use it. takes to long to reload.

Well we are taking a break to shower, we smell funky … so it’s back to first person shooter call of duty black ops, maybe we will change servers this time. I’m getting real sick of flashbang. although you do get a slow mo when it happens.

Call of Duty Black ops Splash

The default video settings for Call of Duty Black ops Was already decent enough for me to start the game, just had to change from 1280×768 to 1440×900. Of course I did not try turning anything up because I wanted to try the game right out of the box at default standards. You know what, I was quite happy with the game-play.

You can move the mouse and look around the room as if you are the head of  Mason the main character in Call of Duty Black Ops. You are restrained in a chair, you have blood on your shirt.

This of course is the first Cutscene of the single Player version Call of Duty Black Ops for pc.

We Played all three versions of Call of Duty Black Ops, We played Multiplayer We played Zombie and We Played Single player. Gave about one Hour to the Zombie game play. Both computers handled the game very well. We took the game to multiplayer and both computers held up great, even on maps with 16/16 players. No noticeable lag at all. but single player. We played  single player mode at veteran level for two Hours. about the second hour, the Intel machine began to lag heavily. Could have been a heating issue.
Best First Person Shooter I have played this year. Nice FPS action, Excellent FPS View
Call of Duty Black Ops, Is now my new favorite First Person Shooter.

Single player is very hard, graphics are amazing. Ai is a bit repetitive non intuitive.  But Ai is very hard.

Multyplayer is small space hardly any place to camp as a sniper. Rounds are short like 10 minutes cap. Multyplayer is fast paced extreme action. Weapons are earned. That’s kind of cool, but those who make it to the good weapons first, keep the others from upgrading.

Call of Duty Black Ops

If you think Modern Warfare has great graphics, Wait till you get a load of the next level.
The game has amazing graphics I have never seen before. The cutscenes are so realistic and suspenseful. In scenes where falling or swinging happens in a cutscene I myself actually felt it in the pit of my stomach.
Do not expect to have your hands on this game till November 09 2010.

Throwing knives 1 at a time. Can scavenge and get more, but not at the same time.. So throw kill, pick up the dead guy’s kniufe, throw kill pick up the dead guy’s knife if he still has one.

infinity ward / Activision produced and manufactured the game.

Olympic deaths- when you die you do flips and twists, kinda cool and funny.

Cash instead of blood- latest patch killed the bloody deaths while in multy player. Instead of blood everywhere you see money fly up.
No cheats no glitch, glitch report feature, and all the cheated Xbox’s have been banned.
Vaseline-eye gone. This refers to the blurry background and scenery area that xbox used for every game that first came out to reduce the amount of imaged teh machine has to render, making it easier to  draw deeper detail in the images it is focussed on. Was a cheap scam if you ask me.  when you die, you get blurry though.

Predator drone missile, lets you do a lock on location while an air strike is performed, you guide the missle.
Auto and barrette at same time, means sniper and machine gun  as secondary weapon, pretty fricken cool if you ask me.
Leader board shows total time. Shows wins.
leader board . Shows accuracy shots. 1v1 with buddy = pad scores. one guy on there had 700+ kills zero misses. He logged in and was 1v1 with his other xbox and shot up the zombie machine.. causing zero misses. Kind of  frooty if you ask me..

Fast pace. Game moved at a rate not seen other than on Soldier Front.

Game was cool, I give it a 8/10.

I no longer have access to the game  or the console. ..

Expect a clear review when it hits PC

Gaming Convention Hit by Recession?

Might be fear mongering on the side of “aP” but who knows.
I am quite sure the gaming industry will stay fine, unless electricity costs go up.

Bolstered by an ever-expanding audience that is turning to games for cheaper entertainment, video games are benefiting in some ways from the economic turmoil. Yet the industry is not completely immune, with layoffs and closings of studios that produce games. Electronic Arts Inc., the game publisher behind the “Madden” football series, is cutting 1,000 jobs, most by the end of this month.
