Cricket Wireless Mass Outages

Yes Cricket users you have no signal.
People are reporting outages to the Cricket network across the country on a website called ” isdownrightnow.net”
If you just go to the site and search for Cricket, and when you find the page for reporting outages, just sit there and hit refresh and look at all of the people reporting in they have an outage, and look at where they are reporting from.

Doesn’t look like Cricket to AT&T switching is going all that smooth.

the Cricket website is also going in and out and forcing you to re-log in. The amount of time you stay logged in is about 1/5th the amount of time it takes for Cricket’s website to accept your password.

From New York to Texas to California, all of Cricket cell phone serviceis down.
Nation wide cell phone outages.
since 4pm Central, Cricket has been out of service. No calls in or out. If you call your voicemail from another phone, you can log in and check your voice mails. You can even delete them. Nothing much after that. Your phone will still show that you have voicemails that have not been deleted or heard.

Odd that this happens right after TeamViewer gets hacked then Myspace gets hacked.

Reddit’s Current state of protest 7/3/2015

Currently Reddit is seeing a bit of a protest due to the letting go of a moderator in the Ask me Anything (AMA) section. Reddit let go of a moderator who’s name is Victoria.

Much of the protest is just bandwagon action from people who never even subscribed to the subreddit called ask me anything. The kids and adults who protest to whatever is being protested and many just for the laughs to add to the jokes. Which makes it look like this moderator is someone with a huge fan-base.

voat.coThere are many posts on Reddit saying they will leave Reddit for another website called VOAT.CO.  Which Voat.co seems to be currently suffering from the sudden influx of users and readers.  so the front page is a notice saying that Voat.Co is currently down.
Voat.Co is somewhat of a clone of Reddit, which actually got it’s idea and platform from people who jumped ship and left Digg.com. After Reddit copied digg, Facebook brought in the like button and never added a dislike . This is still a take from digg’s platform due to the fact that the more liked posts get moved to be seen by more people.

Nonetheless, Reddit’s front page is full of bashings while all of their subreddits have gone private and nothing is being seen by new visitors of Reddit.

In the end reddit is getting a nice flow of visitors and steady activity in protest to Reddit.

 

Java 8 not compatible with Windows Xp

Xp users, your days are numbered.
You will soon be finding more and more software not working with your computer.
This being said, I have to say the most taboo statement in computer Tech world…. Probably a good idea to stop doing updates to items on your Xp computer.
Java 8 installation now tells you that is no longer compatible with your operating system but still says “if you wanna try it go ahead, don’t blame us though” in a round about way.
To be exact:
Java 8 requires a newer version of Windows. You may continue with the installation, but for Java to work as specified we recommend upgrading your operating system. Please refer to http://java.com/sysreq

Something tells me it will be just a year or two before we start getting this notice on windows vista and windows 7.

What’s on The Agenda?

So… The one company that claims to have no political affiliation whatsoever, has so agenda when they create a Martin Luther king image with big dumbo ears?
Are they saying that King was as big of a bumbling tool as a guy with big ears?
What exactly are they saying?
Doesn’t everyone already agree that Martin Luther king was his own man and doesn’t need some other guy to hype him up? Is this other guy with big dumbo ears riding his coat tail? is that not disturbing already? “I’m great, look at my advertisements see?”.
If this was on purpose to make another man look equally as brilliant as Martin Luther king, then it is offensive. because there is no one alive with big dumbo ears that compares to King.

So… who needs to be fired for this mess?
Will that person cover their tracks and block me in that site’s search so no one sees this?
Kinda how the past 3 years have been.. So maybe.
