Pokemon(ed) out

Well it seems in less than a week we have seen and read so much about Pokemon, we are now sick of the app.
All of the Memes of people with their find on the toilet, or in a wineglass. And all of the creepy van pictures with spray painted signs saying “Pokemon inside” blah blah blah.
We’ve all heard the 60 year old news anchor pretend to be turning off his Pokemon-go app, and we know darn well he doesn’t care about that game.
We’ve heard our local radio hosts yammering on endlessly about their kids getting out of the house finally.
We get it, the game requires you to walk to the end of your street. You did it once and have been posting memes about all of the walking you have been doing for the past six days. We get it…
We’ve seen the Pokemon pop up in weird locations that make us wonder “how’d they know the dimensions of this exact location???”. come on. You have your camera on. It asked you for permission. You can’t be that ignorant can you?

It was a short chuckle the first time we all saw the beat up van with “Pokemon inside” then we saw the cleaner but solid white kidnapper van, then the guy “it puts the lotion on it’s skin” and the plethora of clowns. This game is creepier than what we were scared of with facebook. Did you sign in using your Facebook account? because that would be 1000Xs creepier.
That’s enough.
The game has no high moment just a constant “meh” with no climax.

It seems that Pokemon is pretty much for those who ignore simple reality, or children too young to know what their privacy is worth.
And they don’t even care that you can’t battle people. The whole concept of the cartoon the game is based on is battling with your Pokemon. The whole concewpt of the cards that were played with was to battle with your Pokemon.

GTA V News – Max pain 3 players can be reused in GTA V

Grand Theft Auto five announced that Rockstar lets you import your Max Paine 3 Character into GTA V
On Rockstar’s site

A feature debuting in Max Payne 3 and carrying over to Grand Theft Auto V and future appropriate titles, Crews go beyond traditional online clans by allowing players to join large public Crews or simply create a private Crew that members can customize. In this way, Crews help players keep the fight alive from match to match – and even across titles – through the Rockstar Games Social Club, which will keep track of Crew stats, including Feuds

GTAIII Coming to IOS soon

You will soon be playing Grand Theft Auto III on your iphone, ipad and ipod touch soon.
This will revive GTAIII fast and could motivate Rockstar games to get back to making Grand Theft Auto more fun than technical.

Maybe we will see San Andreas Stories come to pc finally, due to influx of new funds and reduced overhead. as an app.
Would be nice to see any GTAIII and after, game come to android also. And maybe even windows mobile. But I do not think there are enough windows phones and Android phones that have the nuts enough to play any of the Grand Theft auto games, other than Grand Theft auto and GTAII or London. Unless they are on the Droid bionic, but really, not many Bionics out there.

There is also the release coming of the Claude Figure

I will be playing Diablo iii far beyond it’s entertainment. I will make this one a sport.
So far blizzard hasn’t said if Diablo III will be a battle.net server or what. Pretty sure it will. but who knows, maybe they will go independant.
I just know for sure that I never would have known about the first diablo if it was not for the interactive chat between diablo, warcraft and starcraft.

New Duke Nukem May 2011

The new Duke Nukem is finally coming. We will see the new duke Nukem released in May of 2011.
The name of the game is Duke Nukem Forever

Too cool. Hopefully this game has a familiar adreneline feeling the original had and tha ” I AM A FRICKEN MAN!” Feel from the one liners and catch phrases that the original Dukenukem had..

Expected Release Date is May 3 2011
That release date is a close one. Usually when a game company tips out a release date, it’s usually 6-8 month or even up to 3 years down the road. But we are looking at a release date of less than 4 months away.
May 3rd is not far away at all.

Makers of Starcraft,Warcraft, Diablo and World of Warcraft have a new game coming out. The game is called Titan
There is talk about Warcraft the movie. Mostly confirmed. and there is talk about the next Starcraft. There will be two games released at the same time, first time that blizzard has done this since 1998.

Facebook’s Hacker Cup

Facebook is starting Hacker Cup 2011.
It’s a competition of Hackers to search for fame for their abilities.
I can only assume it’s another big brother thing that facebook is pulling.
In the end we will find out their are just looking for app makers and program modification enthusiasts.
“hey let’s communicate with them on their level” all that will sign up are the easy to bust do nothings.
