I was watching a YouTube video about how some guy stumbled upon a GTA IV offer on
Take Two Interactive’s Web site here. It’s fake and I could explain how simple and the 500 ways you can fake it, but hey if you are dumb enough to believe it (after what I have to show you), then hey, you will not understand me.
OK. While watching the address to the links he was clicking, and since it was blurry and all I had to go through and click all of the same links to bring me to page that did not exist. it led me to the lawsuit it received for the last game it put out for PC.
It seems Rockstar and Take Two will not be participating in the whole (edit my stuff) game anymore.
the page is addressed in his bar.
That will take you to a page that has one link in it and it mentions GTA.
You might want to read what it says.

There have been two games that have not made pc. it has been four years since we got to w.a.s.d. up down left right space bar shift ctrl 0 e-q and of course “R” to change to the closest lazlow show.
left click right click and spin the scroll wheel to find our favorite gun, or just hit the hot key we assigned.
The only way I could any hope or faith, is if there was an announcement of the cities being released for pc while we wait for a better graphix and bugs fixed version of IV to be ported but that won’t happen.
Taking a break from designs and such. Taking a time out to play some multi-player grand theft auto.
For ever the guys at MTAVC.com have been my hook up. But now I see that the guys at Sa-mp are ahead in their game.
So now I am sitting around playing Grand Theft Auto San Andreas with my son. It seems nice to go back to ol` san andreas and sanfiero and play some , well I have no idea what to call this. First person shooter action racing?
Anarchy?
200 people and it’s every man for himself?

As far as we know right now, GTA 4 will be released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 at the same time on April 29th. The hold up that prevented the game from being released on the 16th of October 2007 was that Sony wanted the same content at the same time as Xbox, as opposed to being released in patches. There was talk from The Rockstar camp that there would be special Internet related content for each console. The content was supposed to be console specific. It turns out that is not the case now. Neither console camp could agree with what they had been assigned as “special content.” Now it looks like the only online content we will see is media and special in game ringtones, for the phone you use in the game, and or notifications of when content is ready. Really it is unclear what they are saying so please do not hold this to heart.

“Amazon is lending its digital music service as a special feature for the much-anticipated upcoming videogame “Grand Theft Auto IV,” allowing gamers to download music discovered via the game’s soundtrack.”
In sum it says that you can get cell phone (in game) notifications and emails about your favorite songs in game.
That is the online content it boasted?
We all want to know ” Will Grand Theft Auto IV come to the computer?”
Let’s look at the odds by looking at the past games that have come out.
Grand Theft Auto and GTA2 came out on PC before they came out on console. GTAIII changed the pattern with it’s release for the Sony Playstation. Grand Theft Auto 3 and the Rockstar and take two families allowed the console gamers to get first crack at the world of Liberty City. The game makers just dropped them into a world of free roam with nothing but their thumbs mashing the controls, doing things that people used to do with all ten fingers. Right away, issues became noticed. The problems where stuff like the A.I. would lose control or just get stuck on simple obstacles they could have just walked around. Users also noticed what is called “pop-ins.” A ‘pop-in’ is when you are moving through this world, then suddenly a bush or a bridge just appears from nowhere, “bam, now it’s just right there” and it was not there a second ago. So Rockstar games amazed everyone with the announcement of GTAIII for the PC. The PC version had a better draw distance and I.A. was tweaked. The question is, did they make a PC version just to shut people up and make more sells?
Grand Theft Auto Vice city came out for the PS2 before it came out for the computer game players. There wasn’t any announcement of a PC version until two months before it’s release. Again, the game was tweaked and looked better on the PC. In my opinion, Vice City was a duller game than GTAIII since Rockstar stripped so much out of the GTAIII engine that it removed most of the ambiance. The items removed where all atmosphere and did bog down consoles and video cards. Nowadays, computers and consoles are finally strong enough to handle that much stress. Again, I ask “Did they make the PC version just to sell more of the same game, even to repeated customers?”
San Andreas, they never even told us it would come out for the computer. While working on San Andreas to be released for the computer (nearly a year after the console version), Rockstar games was also working on Liberty City Stories.
Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories where first announced to be created exclusively for a portable gaming console called “playstation portable,” aka PSP. Six months after both were released, news was announced both would be released for the Playstation2. Neither one have yet to be released for the PC.
So far, there is no announcement of a Grand Theft Auto IV coming out for the personal computer. This next game is now set back to be released on April 29th of this year. If things would have been on schedule (agreements with console makers, etc.), the once again revisit to Liberty City would have been on time, and we would have already heard the news about a computer version. Since the console version was delayed, could it be that the PC version’s news was also delayed, or pushed to be released one year from the original release date of the console version?
Since we have not received a PC version of Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories, nor any news of GTAIV on anything but Xbox360 and Playstation3, I can only expect that Rockstar games would much rather put the “Stories” games and San Andreas out for the Wii console. Long before we will ever see a PC version of any, especially the newest.

Logging into my myspace account today I saw an advertisement that made me kinda have a shock of reality.
I looked at the advertisement , even though it is not like me to do this, I clicked the advertisement , it was grand theft auto direct to hard drive.
Looks liek games direct to your hard drive, My question is, do you have to use daemon tools to spin up the iso? (if you use anything for your iso’s you clearly are a newb). Or does this come in an exe file that uses someone’s game crack?. Do you have to pay with credit card and watch your bank account/checking account for suspiciouse activity for the next year or so ?
I really have no idea because I am not balzy enough to do it. I think the day I make that step is the day I decide I will make one last purchase with current checking account before I close it. I am in no way phoebic, I am wise.
So if you are doing something similar, tell me how it whent.
I really think that if video game companies really wanted to make any money off of illegal downloads and such, they would make their own exe cracks and sell them with some sort serial key, and then add a small fee if the gamer wants a cover. Something like “the plus pack” means they get the key and and cracked exe and a week later they get a blank cd and a full blown game case in the mail.
Hell I dunno I just think these people could make money off of the people ripping them off, if they would just offer faster bandwidth than p2p, and more features.
I was using Xandros 3.4 for over a year. I purchased my disk from Fry’s electronics for like $29.
Well I saw in all of the help forums for modding of Xandros desktops and boot screens tons of help but it was all for 4.0 so I installed 4.0 . It really looks good and comes with a blue launch button as opposed to the default red I had to use with v3.4 . Quite nice. I changed the start button to a modified that I found through the links of the Xandros forum. with 3.4 when you changed the launch button you kept getting a notice to upgrade service pack, even if you already have. When you do the service pack upgrade it changes your launch button back to default. but with 4.0 , no you do not get forced into the change. Nice addon I like this.
When I installed wine again, not a hiccup one. Not one issue. It went great. My Grand Theft Auto Vice City and San Andreas both play nicely and my III does not freeze up on the video configuration like it did with 3.4.
I am happy with 4.0 it was a very good move.
I was there at Fry’s to actually by a new motherboard and nvidia video card so I could prepare myself for Vista. Thank god I did not get into that mess. Xandros is really good. I did of course remove my Ubuntu partition. Ubuntu is not pleasant at all. Even though Ubuntu is Debian just like Xandros; it does not come close in comparison to Xandros with features. I am satisfied and I hope this helped you decide what you will do to you computer.
enjoy.
Well I have my Grand Theft auto vice city and my GTA San Andreas working just fine under Linux. Having an issue with gtaIII at the screen where it is saying it is setting up for my video card and then it just locks up, unsure what happened.
I have Delta force one and two working fine, I am now working on getting black hawk down to work and will be headed to making deltaforce extreme work on Linux. I will be helping you guys all get through this . My ultimate goal is to play online with anyone of the deltaforce games after deltaforce one. I wouldn’t mind a nice capture the flag or TeamDeath Match and not have to worry about some brat hacking me because I set myself to DmZ on my router for open ports.
After that works I will be moving on to Need For Speed. Carbon and most wanted .(i actually like most wanted a lot more).
If anyone is already deep into either one of these and making them work on linux please hit me up with a little help, I may not be as far along as you.
Thanks guys for reading this stuff, this is fun.
