Two Pieces of software I use on the iworkwithmusic website to edit music from live events, and to add back ground music to videos I record, that really do not have any content worth listening to. Like when shopping and I video the display rack in a store. Who wants to hear crowd noise?
Music Editing Software
Magix Music maker. I have the first released version of Magix when it came bundled with a video editor. I also have Magix music maker 16 and the latest HD video editor (not currently at home to tell you what exactly I have). With these two I can make some very high quality videos of shows and concerts. Like here is my friend’s band Sexion 8. I had to record all of these on a cell phone and then bring up the sound, if you will notice in the middle of the Iron Maiden song, the mic blows out on the cell phone. Even though the music suddenly high pitched, I actually was able to bring that from a crackled distorted hiss of a whisper, to a sound that allows you to at least hear that the band was on cue and on mark and the lyrics are understandable. At the mark when the mic blows out, the audio quality changes tragically. but again, if it was not for Magix 16, I would have never gotten that far. I do believe they have a music restore software, but I currently can’t look that up on their site

Digital Dj has a huge tray of sounds and loops that can be used to make tons of music and creative work that can keep you listened to, and your crowd happy for hours.

The video editing in the first and second, was using the first edition of Magix (I’m fast with that one, been using it forever). The audio mix added to the second video was using Magix Music maker 16 and Digital Dj.

35 search warrants issued. 16 arrests.
There is a large amount of blame on ANON for a lot of things.
I will not state the blame, because I do not know their level of guilt and will not accuse them.
I do know that back in the day, there was what we called a “script kiddy”. and the script kiddies fell pray to real hackers.
So just as easily, one of these people arrested, could have been using a script they got from the internet somewhere, and did not know that someone was either spoofing their I.P. address while doing something worse, or using their computer remotely for attacks. There is no telling what all is bundled in that dang script. This leaves the script kiddy with hacking software on his computer and no chance to pass a lie detector if asked if he committed a crime. This leaves the Script kiddy guilty of a crime and no proof that he didn’t commit the crime he is accused of. It would take a more thorough investigation than what I think our government is willing to perform. It would be up to the script kiddy to fund that investigation. If he can not afford it, tough luck.
This is one of the issues I try to point out all of the time. Don’t mess with it until you have thought it all the way through.
Now there will be no Anon. and who knows, we might really need these guys some day. I think we will but they won’t be anywhere to be found.

Well people. Turn your computers off at night (can’t hack or zombie what’s not there), and run an up to date virus scan often.It’s all you can do.

I have forever loved to see the handy craftsmanship of custom computer cases. all of the creativity that goes into the building of a computer case, the way the craftsman found most desirable and rational. The additional modifications and personal gems of utilities that should be on all computer cases, and other modifications that you just can’t get unless you build the whole thing yourself. That stuff has me dazzled. To know that a real person with their own two hands built something that will last and be useful for many years. i have been telling myself for the past i don’t know how many years. but it was back when I first saw the custom jewelry case computer. and that was quite a while back. The person built a computer case to be in the same design as any typical jewelry case, but was one of the first people to use clear plastic for the sides and top, and to then punch holes for air flow, the motherboard was positioned just right so the air flowing in will cross the cpu, hit the video card and shoot straight out, while more air blew in over the hard drive and i think the north bridge and straight out. The computer was a work of art. but I can no longer find it in Google. He must have dropped his website.
But it’s that design that motivated me and gave me ideas. but I couldn’t ever follow through with them. I never had anywhere to build custom computer cases.Couldn’t see myself standing on the balcony of my second story apartment out in a little town known as a very bad side of town, just drilling and gluing and sawing away, like there isn’t some druggy around the corner mad at you because ” you have things” like a hand saw and a Black and Decker AAA battery screw driver you call a drill, and don’t think he wont shoot you for it and not feel bad about killing you over a worthless item so much as feeling bad that he walked all the way up to the pawnshop with a screw driver you paid $4 at the dollar general for. I do have a knack for making worthless items look a little better than they are worth so, I can see it happening.
Now that I have my own house now, I have my own garage and I have my own tools. I have about 6 spare computer cases, (getting paint) and like 8 spare motherboards.

It is time for me to start my dream of custom computer cases.
Not my biggest dream just a flash in the pan wish that won’t go away.
What i am Starting With
I do not have a table to work on just yet. I am thinking of watching Craig’s list for a scratched up raggity dinner table for cheap. To start with. I mostly want a dinner table because that means a low chair (preferably a computer chair) can sit at the table as I build the custom computer cases and I will have a large area to work with.
Please stick by as I go into this hobby and watch for pictures to be posted as I work through building these custom cases.
So far I have gathered quite a bit of supplies for this. Some was given to me, others purchased with a goal.
The cases will of course have bondo and or fiberglass in their build. Everything I can mod will be modded. I will be using what I know of computer cooling and automotive cooling, and ALL knowledge I have about design for anything. Not to look cheesy, but to look cool, while actually cooling the computer and deadening sound. Count on Retro fitting lots of stuff. Two of my cases are at least ten years old with rust on them and probably weigh about 15 lbs each. These will be fun to work with. Backs will be punched out, screw holes will be obsoleted and new holes will be drilled.
I may even slip a bit of lumber and lots of plastic into the mix. (I already have a design so go ahead and count on it).
I might even do a retro budget gaming computer, and try and do a bit of overclocking to make it that much more brag worthy.
As always, everything will come from ads in the paper, Craig’s List, Fry’s or Compusa. Any place I can get a good deal or at least the part I need.

Not quite sure how i want the “Custom Computer Cases” page to work out, I may just make it a page to link the different cases and their progress and process. So I can show others how I did the designs and to help motivate people to try the same thing. Or I could just plop all of the computer cases in the same page. That could get messy though. Ehh i will wing it like I do everything else. Wild a slight idea of what I want to do.

Yep, I jumped ship. I went back to Cricket.
The phone that I traded my blackberry 8100 in for is a Sanyo/Kyocera zio. AKA KYOCERA M6000.
Since Cricket was giving away the Sanyo Zio if you trade in your working cell phone from your current carrier, I assumed I should.
This phone is not a brand new technology, at all. This phone was originally with Sprint back in early 2010 brought to Cricket in late 2010.
I was on a plan that gave me 300 minutes of talk time at a cost of $49 a month and I still had fave fives. To now, an unlimited everything for $55 a month.
The first thing was to call T-mobile and request my account number. The guy who answered the phone put on a sincere voice and Acknowledge that he knows that typically when people ask for their account number, they are about to leave the company. The guy asked me if there was anything i was in need of, to keep me from leaving. i let the guy know that I was not happy with how I have been treated so i am looking around, and my first step is to get my account number and that I may or may not leave T-mobile. Really, that was exactly true. I could have backed out of getting my phone number ported over to Cricket, at any time. The guy kept asking questions and hesitating, So i had to get stern with him ‘ look, I am considering leaving and you holding out like this is making me want to leave even more, i just need my number and will consider all option”. He said just about everything he could think of just short of “please don’t talk to other people, you will see how good things could be”, what ever he said. I just hung up because I got my account number. and that’s all I needed.
I gave the teller my account number, in less than 3 minutes the phone was in my hand with a temporary number on it. I got a text message and it said for me to text back with a code and my old number will be moved to cricket. I tried and it did not work. After I called the help line, I realized i wasn’t pressing they ‘*’ key first. My bad. Phone number was switched over to T-mobile just like that. Whole deal took less than 20 minutes to complete.

The Sanyo Kyocera ZIO from Cricket, by feel, is a lot like my blackberry, smooth.

Nice and thin, slick,no buttons to interface, touch Screen, except volume and camera. I have few complaints about
the camera button. Sensitive when I am not trying to touch the camera button, but doesn’t do squat when I hit that button on purpose. Volume buttons are excellent.

Headphone jack on the upper left edge, and an SD card slot on the mid right. All have caps.

Screen feels like plastic over glass. I could be wrong as to whether it actually is, it’s just the way the Zio feels to me.

Scroll ball, is a bit sticky and sluggish.
Huge Screen Perfect fit for downsized (not re-sized) hd movies
Watched Diggnation, Tekzilla and life Hacker from the revision 3 website and was impressed with the resolution and quality of the images and video, Nearly never a buffer time. sometimes The revision 3 server hiccups.
Camera takes a very high resolution video, even in room lighting. (never great to have just room lighting)
Every application I tried, all work fine.
There is some bloat ware that I had to root the phone to remove. Some bowling game demo and an “uno” game.
Many applications load constantly, you can not go into settings and turn them off like you could with the g1 on android 1.6. So battery life isn’t what it could be.
Nice fade when opening and closing apps. but again, sometimes sluggish. Keyboard seems to be miss calibrated, When you press the Letter ‘o’ you get the letter ‘p’ and so on… If you are a fast texting person, you will get frustrated. Just find the letter that the Zio mistakes you typing, and hit the far corner of the button you intend to pres. Works well that way.

Reception
At home and at work, my signal fluctuates between no signal, and two bars. but with that said, I received a call from a friend while I had 0 bars and the phone call sounded fine on my end, and the person on the other end never asked me what I was saying. I never heard anything unusual or anything that would hint of a bad signal, other than the caller’s T-mobile lag. Was sad when we both were on T-mobile, neither knew when to talk.
although I find myself back in 2003, holding the sanyo Zio up in the air to get a signal enough to send a text message. I don’t remember Cricket having this bad of a signal.
