I really was interested, but now. Not so much.
surffing the net looking for a website to see who is talking about my website, I stumble on this junk.

From the way it looks, by what this guy is saying about youtube and itunes get hacked, the bug is still not fixed.
Looks like all you have to do is type <script> in a comment and then a correct command code for a specified normal script to run, and you nail visitors with a pop up message that is scary. like one pop up says the victim is infected so to fix the issue is to delete a very important folder. Nice.
I have no idea who could have done such a thing G wiz that is nifty.
Sad part is knowing that Google owns youtube. and apple owns itunes. Google can locate them. Apple won’t let them getting busted be publicly known. In fact this is the first I read about it and it has been one week since the incident.
o.O
Someone’s gonna come up missing very soon.
Make sure that you have a place to store your material that composes your website. Make sure you have as much space as you possibly can, like powweb, they have unlimited storage at a very good price. Very good. So far I have registered for three different companies websites at powweb and all three were under $100 for two years.
Okay we all know that web-design, Some people can do it, some people can not do it. (wait, I am not selling you web design, simply because I am sick of it) I know it’s not actually an art . but you really have to think of it like you think of art. Try and not think of it as construction. You can not just lay out blueprints and say “hey this is how it goes, this is what i want and this is exactly what you will give me”. Ever try that crap with a guy that just draws cartoons or caricatures ? You can’t go and grab someone who draws realistic drawings with perfect angles shading lighting and life like appeal, to just draw you on a rocket ship with a rodeo clown shirt on. It’s just not his thing, and well, he has his certain fields he has focused on really well. It is best you let him utilize his abilities to his best interest.
You are not a web designer. So having a lay out or a design that you want, well you are going to have to do it yourself. If you do not lay out your website yourself, be certain that what he will make for you, will not be to your liking on the first round. It’s just a fact.
A person that knows about web design is doing everything with full optimization in mind. This person has this thing laid out with full SEO integrated in their design. The more you toss ideas at them and the more you incorporate a third party web designer in this project, the more you throw this guy out of his field of operation. You will also start to make a complete professional web-designer look like a total amateur. Let him finish his project and you will see what he gave you will have tons of great cooperative segments of the site’s design.
Have an open mind, be prepared for creative differences and be prepared for someone more knowledgeable in this field to tell you that what you want will not work. Or be prepared for someone to just build you exactly what you want and leave to to fight the internet on your own.
1. If you have a specific idea that you want done and must have, then be clear about what you want from the start. Draw it on paper, show each page individually and fill in the exact text you want or need that explains that page. He can not read your mind. He is not in your business, or you would have more competition. Be prepared for the designer to re-word your text to handshake his SEO portion of the design.
2. Give all logos you need for the design.
3. Be ready for some of your ideas to get scratched. They may be obsolete or to complex for the average user to enjoy. Or they just may screw up the Search Engine Optimization portion of your design. Some of your idea may be unrealistic.
4. Be certain that your site’s topics cover what means the most interest in your company. If you sell airplane door hinges, don’t make your company website talk about what your company started as, what it is becoming and what it is now. Make your website about airplane door hinges. It would take a pretty submissive web-designer to not tell you that you are goofing by using the wrong content.
Don’t ask the designer of your website to copy another website. Do not go to the nearest search engine and steal pictures off of the internet and ask your web designer to design your website around them. Do not under estimate the power of proper Search Engine optimization. Do not expect SEO work to happen over night. It takes most search engines two weeks to set your site in rank order. Heck it actually takes that long just for them to get around to noticing you are there. Do not look at a crowded Navigation bar/ menu and request more in there without a bit of a remodeling.
You can have the site you want. Just have your wants and needs laid out already. save a copy for yourself and give a copy to the web guy. If you already have a web guy then by all means, let him do the work. just be ready to hire someone else for SEO and make sure your web guy is ready to comply with the SEO person. It’s hard for one web guy to go back behind another web designer and figure out what they changed and how to make it work with the full plan. Improper communication ends in crazy results.
Here is an image I found on Facebook that seemed to fit perfect.
The graphics are really nice. Fire looks brilliant. Car skin looks like fresh real paint. All of the cars are beautiful and fast. From the street to the tops of buildings, the city looks amazing and real. This is a pretty game. I mean it in the sense of it looks great and is built to fit today’s computer world. This is in every sense, a Racing Video Game. Menu area is a pretty cool new looking format. They went all out on this racing game.
On the down side, this was a game that was created for a console. Clearly. You have limited control mapping. You have limited Resolution adjustments and tons of current gen console “motion blur”. On the upside, for this high end of resolution, it is very light weight on your hardware. I never once felt lag or lack of response with my 3 gig tri core AMD, Nvidia 250 and 4 gigs of ddr2 pc6400 memory.
I did sense this game looks and feels a lot like Need For Speed Most Wanted with better textures and slight engine add on mod. Added gun thingy and some sort of change to the slow motion . Drafting is there like in Need For Speed Carbon and Undercover. I love all three of those games and wish there was more to them, so this is perfect.
I will be wasting many hours completing this game, even though I have no idea what the story is. Is there a story?
I finished first race hit escape. Totally lost my win. Re-started game and had to enter my user name again. Had to do most of my video settings. Screen resolution stayed but not video quality. Had to enter all of that again.
Not much to the steering. Can’t explain much but will say, you can smash them buttons, you aint turning any sharper.

After way to long, I finally purchases Driver Parallel Lines for pc. I was reluctant to purchase this game while I was waiting for Grand Theft Auto IV to be released for Computers. Many of the online communities rated driver PL really bad. So you see why I never bought Parallel Lines.
Today I was at the electronics store with my son looking for him a game and me a cooler for my recently acquired laptop. While walking around killing time as my son picked out Fear2 for his Xbox360 I rummaged through the pc games section. I came across Driver Parallel Lines for pc on sale at $9.99. Well that went into my basket pretty quick. I also grabbed Split Second at $39.99. (crummy control Need for speed mock up). We made our way back home.
On first inset of the game DVD, The first pop up message looks pretty bad. It looks like I am running a windows 98 program.I noticed the install never prompted for a cd key. but it did as me if I wanted to register, I selected a reminder of 15 days. Cutscenes ate the start of the game reminded me of grand theft auto iii and Vice city. When I could finally start the game I was sitting in front of a boxy looking city with a skinny lanky looking fellow with long hair as my main person. I started to walk and his hair started swinging back and fourth in an exact repeated motion. it was kind of goofy. I was getting really disgusted with the game. I jumped into another car and chased down my car (which was being pushed down the street by the police car that was supposed to be chasing me). In chasing down my car, I hit a pedestrian. Ok I am cool with it now. The way I know the game driver, you couldn’t get out of your car. I switch cars and begin running from the cops again. I ran over another pedestrian and they did the exact same thing the last pedestrian did. I tilt my head a bit to the right in confusion and nail another one. Yep exact same motion. So the physics sucked.
I later grab a motorcycle and decide to go for a joy ride. I first search everywhere and can not see how to do a wheelie. I jump what looks like a ramp and barely get any air. I get to top speed and try to power slide. the slide was pathetic. I came to an instant stop with no drift.
I do a custom search in Google for “mods texture Driver Parallel Lines PC -xbox -ps2” and find plenty of skins for cars and peds. So I go to work on resolving the issues that bugged me. (I clipped off that hair so I don’t have to see that stupid swinging)
After I get good and settled in, I start playing the game for real. The game is really fun. Yeah the cars handle just like they did in the first driver game, and the controls have limited functions but hey I am here just for the fun. Right? This game has all of that. The back end story you get in the cutscenes is probably ten times better than any other game I have played. it is a memorable story. I realized that driver was out long before GTAIII and True Crimes. In GTAIII you are the driver of gangs, in driver you are a driver so it would only be expected that you can change cars as you do in GTA. The textures well they clearly reflect EA. ok back on topic, I had more fun playing the missions in Driver Parallel Lines than I ever had in GTAIV. The action is fast and hidden humor is abundant. The cops do not let go of you man. When they chase you, expect to spend 5 minutes minimum trying to shake them.
Wish I could turn the radio to another station. or honk the horn. Or power slide.
Ubisoft made a pretty fun game here and it is well worth buying at it’s current price.
I have to categorize this as a racing game because it has more than 60% of it’s action in a car. Typically they call those racing games. I call em action if there isn’t a drag strip or illegal street racing as the major part of the game. So it’s a racing game. :-)

This is not video game for showing people how cool your graphics card is. This a game for showing your friends a fun game.
It seems there is a group that calls people and just says random names to them. usually the name is a first name that is audible and last name that is inaudible. The first name is a typical in relation to your location. Like people in the United States the name would be Brian or John, Dave, Tracy (names everyone knows). The last name you will never understand. Typically two syllables. You can mistake the last name because you are sure he has a bad accent so you think he is trying to say a word you know. ” I am calling on for Brian *mumble* ” . Of course you trying to be helpful you offer a last name of the most recent “Brian” you know. This person on the other end of the line will either ask you for their contact information and ask you for your name, or ask you for your name first and then tell you that they used you for a reference on a loan and you are now liable for the cost of the loan. If they go the other way, they call Brian and tell them that you got the loan and they are liable for the value of the loan. This scammer could be so bold as to try and sell you illegal medication or tell you that you got a loan (because everyone who is not in their country is a big fat pill taking loan getting sleeping on a waterbed driving flying cars fool) and they are from “Legal Officers” or “Law Firm” and that the police are in route to pick you up.
The phone call comes from a phone number that ends in 0000. When you call it back it says the number has been disconnected. This is a clear sign it is a scam. If you are one of the few who get a voicemail, they always leave a call back number that is different from initiating call. Save that phone number, save that voicemail.
Some people get scared by this and give up their credit card information over the phone (as far as they know this person knew to much to be a scam). They victim gets their bank account wiped out in it’s entirety. Credit ran into the dirt leaving the person stripped of everything they have earned. Simply because they doubt this could ever be a scam.
Some say your best action is to not take action. some say it is best to tell them they have the wrong number and have been mislead. I myself found it funnier to say ” Wow what are the odds? I am a federal agent who has been investigating your group for the past 4 months and you guys actually called me on the company line making this completely and entirely traceable. In fact I have just now (waited 3 seconds) pinpointed your exact location, the trucks should be rolling in within the next 30 minutes” . The voice on the line said something in a language I have no understanding of, to someone who was in the room with him as he hung up the phone. He never called back.
It is probably the best legal idea to call your local authorities and give them what ever call back number they may have left on your voicemail or any information that shows them as claiming to be a debt collector, or some collector of any sort. This is a phishing scam and is illegal in every country. If you can give this voicemail to the local authorities and let them handle any legal issues of this type of rip off, you would probably have better response just for them hearing this. It is illegal to threaten you in any way shape or manor. You can not threaten a person of arrest unless your legal proof is present, such as badge or twenty cops standing around you at the time. Passing on a call back number would be very helpful.
Never threaten the guy on the line, never tell him or her (usually a guy) that what he/she is doing is phishing or a scam. Bring the phone call to an end. If you can tell them you are at work and will call them at lunch time and need a call back number. That phone number will be the end of them. It is hard to bust phone scammers and they are well practiced. so tell them you are in an important meeting at work and will have to call them back after work or at lunch time. If they call back do not answer the phone. There may just be to much in your voice that let’s them know their phone phishing scam is at risk.

On at network of 32 computers at the office, on a network of 6 computers at home. I get the same results.
Divx starts and plays a full movie on first use. Then from there on out, hang up. Two dell computers with vista 30 computers winxp. One custom build windows seven, 5 computers vista.
Solution to prevent the hang up, right click media select item to open with. I choose win media player. I selected the “always option”.
I also installed xvid codecs to ensure no other issues.
Problem solved. Now none of the employees come to me to solve the stupid issue. Other than the few that figure since I am I.t., it is my duty to re-write the code so they can use the media player of their choice.
Installed on blackberry 8100 rim and on G1 android.
I was using opera mini on my lg flip phone and Motorola rizr and blackberry for years before I got my android. Seems my rizr didn’t quite measure up so I had to install version 4.
I’m not too keen on opera on my computer. Feels kinda netscape navigator-ish.
The blackberry install was fast. Use was very smooth. Impressive appearance. Small pop ups look druple like. Could not find settings to change browser color. Navigation and page change smoother and softer than previous versions. Bookmarking has been made easier refreshing and closing ap happens fast with no lock ups.
Blackberry install I give a 10/10
Install for android, was 5 beta.
I’m beyond impressed. This is one sharp looking application. I have yet to see another app look this great. Downside is the menu bar at the bottom uses some of the screen realestate. I’m scared to turn it off, it might not come back. Menu button does nothing. Maybe if I close the bottom navigation bar it will show up in menu area. ( if anyone tested this, let me know results). Navigation bar has a forward and back button with refresh button. You no longer have to hit back button a million times to exit 10 minutes of surfing. This feature needs to be in all programs.
After you install this, do not change your home page. Look at the home page that is provided. You can have basically a bookmarks with thumbnails as your home page. Touch screen is now functional, in my honest opinion better than the default android browser. very fluid with your finger movements.
Again I could not change color or theme.
I give opera mini beta 5 for android a 10/10
Opera 4 for motorolla rizr 9/10
Ok. Feed submission is automated and you can just simply verify and be done with it
This is an open source project with a couple apps already created for it.
Seems to be in Alpha mode, Seems to be a social network of news builders and posters.
Wish I could figure out how to invite people. There is someone I want to invite to it but I can not locate the “Invite to Digg 4” button or option. *update* digg tech support said to just send her to new.digg.com
I didn’t take up on the crap where it makes you invite everyone in your facebook and gmail account. I hope that “Google Me” is as good.
I got my hands on the IPhone 4. After a week of arguing with the macfaqs at work about how Apple is not super man and the pope rolled into one and how the Iphone really does have a signal issue.
One of the co-workers brought an Iphone 4 in to the office and let me get a hands on.
The camera on it is amazing. (yeah I’m in the background gathering pictures with my G1).
You can actually have a full on video chat with someone who has an IPhone 4 also.
The resolution is remarkable. The thing is nice and heavy feeling. Very sturdy. Somehow though it looks like the old nano and a Motorolla birthed an Apple. Video quality is up to 720p 29 fps recording.
screen area
512mb Ram 1GHz processor Really impressive. That could play GTA liberty City Stories easily.
Well that’s the best I can do with my limited time with the phone. The co-worker that brought that with him is now as we speak on a plane to somewhere on vacation. HTC needs to build more like that. or Motorolla needs to build more like that. Then again, just be motivated by that to make something better. So if I did not make it clear reception was fine. a room with 7 computers 6 of them running and reception was fine. No matter where I placed my fingers on that phone, the signal was good.
(((((1 video was removed)))))
I really appreciated the chance to check that thing out. It was the feeling of when you are holding a brand new hard drive that you know is fast and has tons of storage. It just felt sturdy very well built and nice and heavy.
I will not be buying one simply because AT&T has chased me away already with their bad signal in my area. Sure wish it was on Tmobile. Not much better but better.
